I have just finished reading a book called "The day the world came to town" by JimDefede in one sitting. Cover to cover, laughing and crying. You Newfies are such wonderful and selfless people I felt compelled to write and say thank you. I am a proud American and watched in horror and disbelief as those cowards used our planes and the lives of so many souls against us. I have followed the stories of the heros of the United States and their help and kindness they showed to the victems and the families of 9/11 and I was proud that they were Americans. After reading this book I can say without a doubt I have never been prouder in my life to call Newfies my friends and family. We have never met, we probably never wiil. I will say this. The money that have been saving to take my young son to visit Ireland will instead be spent in Gander other towns and cities that cared to well for the "diverted" of 9/11. God bless everyone of you.
