All, Dan and Teresa Seeley, owners of Diamond Catering in Syracuse NY, caught the repeat of the Primetime episode on Gander back in August. They were so moved by what they saw that they are now planning a big dinner for the residents of Gander on Sept 20, 2003. They are calling the event, "Gratitude for Gander" and plan on feeding 10,000 people. The Seeleys are drumming up support for their event including donations and volunteers. My friend and I (plane people who stayed in Gander) have already raised our hands. We planned on returning to Gander for a visit in June but will delay the trip until September so we can participate.
