My Dad and stepmom were on the #37 Flight to Cincinnati on 9/11 when they were detoured to Gander. My Dad, Olen Martin, led his flight in the Ohio State University fight song!(I believe I have the right song). He was allowed to get off the flight early because of his poor health and the fact that he needed medicine. I just wanted to let you know, my Dad passed away this year on January 14th in Columbus, Ohio at his home. He had pulmonary fibrosis. We had a beautiful service or him complete with lots of music and humor just the way he wanted it. My name is Michele Venable and I live in Paducah, Kentucky. My stepmother is still living in Columbus, Ohio.
