On the second day in the church hall, my friends and I decided we had to have
a drink. So we talked one of the good ladies with a car to drive us to a
liquor store. On the way, she told us that occasionally she would take a sip
of Tia Maria.

In the store, we found the only bottle of a 12 year old Scotch, so bought
that along with some club sodas, and for our church lady, a bottle of Tia Maria
for her kindness.

I told my wife to give her her gift but in such a way that it would not
offend possible sensitivities.

We took ourselves with our bottle and sodas off to the lake behind the church
in good spirits (no pun intended). Out of the packet came the sodas and a
bottle of Tia Maria.

I wonder what the good Samaritan has done with my 12 year Scotch.
I have yet to speak to my wife.
